1, the meaning of the model

The types of electric wires, cables and power cables for electrical equipment are mainly composed of the following seven parts:

3, specification

The specification is composed of rated voltage, core number and nominal cross section.

The rated voltage of electric wire and control cable is 300/300V, 300/500V and 450/750V.

The rated voltage of medium and low voltage power cables is generally 0.6/1kV, 1.8/3kV, 3.6/6kV, 6/6(10) kV, 8.7/10(15) kV, 12/20kV, 18/20(30) kV, 21/35kV, 26/35kV, etc.

The core number of wire and cable is determined according to the actual needs. Generally, the power cable mainly has 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 cores, the wire is mainly 1 ~ 5 cores, and the control cable has 1 ~ 61 cores.

The nominal cross section is an approximation of the cross section of the guide body. An integral value near a conductor's cross section that is specified for the purpose of achieving a specified DC resistance and is easily memorized and unified. China's uniform provisions of conductor cross sections are 0.5, 0.75, 1, 1.5, 2.5, 4, 6, 10, 16, 25, 35, 50, 70, 95, 120, 150, 185, 240, 300, 400, 500, 630, 800, 1000, 1200, etc. It should be emphasized here that the nominal cross section of a conductor is not the actual cross section of a conductor. Many of the actual cross sections of a conductor are smaller and some are larger than the nominal cross section. In the actual production process, as long as the direct current resistance of the conductor can meet the specified requirements, it can be said that the cable cross section is up to the standard.

4. Standard number

Most countries or industries have clear standards for the wire and cable we produce now. The main purpose of course is to unify the design and use. Here I mainly introduce a few related to my company's production of wire and cable standard number.
