Anhui State Grid Announcement: List of Enterprises Penalized in August (Cable Products Category)

To promote suppliers’ integrity in contract performance, ensure product quality, and guarantee the smooth progress of power grid construction as well as safe and reliable power supply, in accordance with the relevant provisions of the “State Grid Corporation of China Regulations on the Management of Handling Supplier Misconduct,” suppliers found to have issues such as product quality problems or dishonest contract performance have been subject to disciplinary measures. The specific details of these actions are set out below.

Jiangsu, Tianjin, and three other provinces and municipalities have jointly announced that, in July, more than 50 cable companies were penalized with suspension from bidding.

On July 30, the official website of the Tianjin Municipal Commission for Market and Quality Supervision released the results of the first batch of special quality‑supervision spot checks on wire and cable products in 2018. According to the announcement, this round of inspections covered 23 enterprises and a total of 99 batches of products.
